First-Ever Nibblings Cooking Class at Dilly Dally!
A hands-on cooking class where kids 10–14 test the first Nibblings recipe, build independence, and help shape a new cooking and learning platform.
I’m so excited to announce the first-ever Nibblings cooking class at one of my favorite Brooklyn spots, Dilly Dally!
Kids ages 8–14 will test the inaugural Nibblings recipe—chicken schnitzel—in a real restaurant kitchen. This won’t be your typical cooking class with me leading step-by-step from the front. Instead, kids will use Nibblings recipes to work through the process independently, with my support when they need it.
And for the adults—stick around for a drink or snacks while the kids cook!
While Nibblings is designed to be a digital platform for families to cook and learn together at home, I couldn’t pass up this opportunity. I want Nibblings to mirror what good teaching looks like—where independence is encouraged, but feedback and iteration make learning stronger. This class is not only a chance for kids to cook, but also a way for me to gather meaningful data: Were the directions clear? Where did kids need extra support? Did the recipe feel engaging? And of course, did it taste great?
What I learn from this class will directly shape future recipes, parent guides, and the Nibblings platform.
